CDL Driver/Generator Operator

Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive equipment to and from event sites, which may require being out of state for multiple weeks at a time.
Set-up, install, monitor, and strike portable power equipment.
Act as the onsite primary point of contact for customers to ensure the equipment is running properly.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise and effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure vehicle and equipment inspections are regularly conducted and arrange maintenance when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Active CDL License with clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) required.
Ability to drive for extended periods.
Strong commitment to safety.
Excellent navigational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Drivers/Operations often work long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays with the possibility of being away from home for extended periods, sometimes traveling for days or weeks.
The job may require navigating diverse weather conditions and road types, including rural, urban, or remote locations.
There may be physical tasks such as loading/unloading electrical equipment, climbing in and out of the truck, and performing equipment checks, requiring strength and stamina.
Movements including but not limited to prolonged periods of sitting in the truck, loading/unloading equipment, climbing in and out of the truck, performing equipment checks, long periods standing onsite, walking, bending, and reaching are required.
Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; talk; see; and/or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
The role requires continuous focus, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stay alert, especially while operating large vehicles in traffic or challenging conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at all times.
